Chat Shortcodes for WordPress

Follow

The placement section of our Chat Plugin, allows to select between a tab or the Embedded-Form version of our Chat feature. The plugin recognizes your website's main pages, and from there you can select between a tab or Embedded Form version. The plugin however does not recognize your second/inner level pages, such as a post. Therefore you can use our shortcodes to place the chat on those specific pages.

On your WordPress panel you will go either to "posts" or "pages", and select the page where you want to paste the shortcode. Access the editor and you will see the "Visual" and "Text" tabs. Select the Text tab and paste the code. Update the file and you will get the chat form live.

If you want to use a specific chat form you've previously created, you will need the chat form's "form key", which can be found on the "settings" section.

Form Keys, look like this: MzIxOGM1MTRiYTM,

So copy the key and paste it on the shortcode; so you will get something like this:

[show-live-chat-form formkey="MzIxOGM1MTRiYTM," version="inline"]
